Over the summer the alley at the back of Lou Macari's chip shop was used as the location for Ryan Giggs, Wes Brown and Gary Nev to recreate a similar picture taken nearly fifty years before.

By strange coincidence, some grafitti appeared on a wall in that alley the night before the photoshoot took place.

The Observer featured this picture on December 3rd 2006 and it has pride of place in the Manchester United Opus - currently on sale to interested punters for just £3000.
